# SendLess

> SendLess is an iPhone app for not texting your ex. When the urge hits, it shows the person their own reasons, writes a short reminder for that moment, and lets them write the text anyway and watch it burn instead of arrive. Nothing written in SendLess is ever sent to anyone.

## What it does

- **Your reasons first.** During onboarding the user writes, in their own words, why they won't text their ex. When the urge hits, the app shows those words first.
- **A line for this moment.** The app writes one short reminder from the user's answers (why it ended, when the urge hits, what they usually do, how many days it has been). The user can ask for another reason, more detail, or confirm they won't text.
- **Write it and burn it.** A fake conversation where the user types everything they want to say, hits send, and the messages explode. Nothing leaves the phone.
- **Give it 10 minutes.** A countdown: no decision until the timer ends.
- **Streak.** Days without contact, counted from the last contact, with milestone cards.
- **Remember why, saved lines, wins, and an optional nightly check-in** (a local notification).

## Who it is for

Anyone trying to keep no contact with an ex, especially late at night, after a drink, or when the ex posts something. It is a self-help tool, not therapy, counselling or a crisis service.

## Facts

- **Platform:** iPhone (iOS). Coming soon to the App Store.
- **Price:** subscription. Weekly (the first week at an introductory price, then weekly) or yearly. No free trial. Prices are shown in the App Store in local currency.
- **Accounts:** none. No login.
- **Privacy:** what the user writes stays on the phone, except the answers needed to write a reminder, which go to SendLess's server and AI models and are not stored. Nothing typed in the fake conversation leaves the phone. Anonymous usage counts under a random ID that is new every session. No advertising, no tracking.
